Yesterday was a happy day. I got to spend it with my good friend Lisa.

With Addison's disese my social circle is TIGHT but BRIGHT.

And my girl Lisa is one of my brightest stars.

We met through our illness and have had 3 meaningful visits together.

Spending time with someone who GETS YOU.
Spending time with someone who DOESN'T JUDGE YOU.
Spending time with someone you can be YOU with.

That is a priceless gift.

Addison's disease steals my soul and often leaves me a shell of the person I am.

I struggle everyday.

But with that struggle I have found true acceptance, friendships and unconditional love.

If I had to choose between NOT having Addison's Disease and having Lisa in my life.

I would choose Addison's disease and Lisa.

There is always a light in the darkness.
Lisa is one of my lights. And she is BRIGHT THAN BRIGHT!
